When a Class Doesn't Fit Your Week

Nine classes a day on a weekday covers most of us. It does not cover everyone.

If you travel constantly, work shifts, or have a schedule that changes weekly, you can still struggle to make class.

Two good options are:

Personal training. One-to-one. The advantage is that you can book to fit your schedule that week. These sessions also allow you to be laser focused on your goals and where you are at. Whether it’s nailing a skill you want to achieve or other specific fitness goals this is a great option. Also if you’re coming back from a serious injury and want more hand holding to get back then this works well.

It also suits people who want to train hard and would rather not do it in a room full of other people. Nothing wrong with that at all.

Working with Dr Amy. This is what I recommend for anyone who has a schedule that doesn’t allow them time to train regularly. One of the key parts of Dr Amy’s programme is to look at your lifestyle and build achievable habits and move the health needle for you considering all six pillars of nutrition, movement, connection, stress, sleep and lifestyle. She becomes your anchor and keeps you eating well, sleeping better and prioritising the right parts of your life so that the hour in the gym when it comes is just another layer on this huge improvement you’re making across all areas of your mental and physical health. A lot of the time this is fantastic for high performers under lots of work and life stresses. Let Amy be that anchor in the storm.

If you have looked at the timetable and written us off, have the conversation instead. Jeremy or Beth will go through your actual week and tell you which of the three fits. Fifteen minutes, free, no obligation. crossfitchiltern.com.
